Barry Allen is a Central City police forensic scientist with a reasonably happy life, despite the childhood trauma of a mysterious red and yellow lightning killing his mother and framing his father. All that changes when a massive particle accelerator accident leads to Barry being struck by lightning in his lab. Coming out of coma nine months later, Barry and his new friends at S.T.A.R labs find that he now has the ability to move at superhuman speed.
Furthermore, Barry learns that he is but one of many affected by that event, most of whom are using their powers for evil. Determined to make a difference, Barry dedicates his life to fighting such threats, as The Flash. While he gains allies he never expected, there are also secret forces determined to aid and manipulate him for their own agenda.

We pick up on Barry three months after him changing the timeline. He has trapped Reverse Flash in a cage. His parents are alive, but his love interest Iris West does not know who he is. Neither do his friends at Star Labs. With these changes come new enemies, new speedsters and a whole world in Flashpoint.

The team is in for a shock as Caitlin is forced to reveal her Killer Frost powers – but she is not the only one with a secret.
Barry asks Green Arrow for help when aliens attack Central City, but when they realize that won’t be enough, they track down the Legends of Tomorrow so they can bring Supergirl in on the battle.
Barry heads for Earth-3 to get advice from Jay Garrick on how to stop Savitar; Wally tells Barry he’s been training with H.R.; old wounds are reopened as Cisco faces Christmas without Dante.
Barry (Grant Gustin) and Team Flash try to figure out a way to change the future to save Iris (Candice Patton) from her inevitable death. The only way for them to do that is to go back to the future. Wally West (Keiynan Lonsdale) will be suiting up as Kid Flash as he teams up with Barry. Will these guys be successful in changing the future and stop Savitar or will the future remain unaltered by their actions?
Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) and Cisco Ramon (Carlos Valdes) must work together to save Harrison Wells (Tom Cavanagh) from an inter-dimensional bounty hunter who seeks to kill him, as it is a crime on Earth-19 to transport yourself to another earth. Cisco and Barry must fight against the bounty hunter in a fight to the death to save Harrison’s life.
Barry and the team at S.T.A.R. Labs work together to bring down Clive Yorkin, a criminal meta-human who is methodically killing people by causing them to decompose at an accelerated rate. Joe becomes his next target but it’s Iris who is caught in the crossfire. The Flash mentors Kid Flash and begins to elevate the newer speedster’s training to another level.
Barry and the team travel to Earth-2 to rescue Harry from Gorilla City, where they’re captured and brought to Grodd, who claims he needs their help to stop Solovar.
Grodd and his army bring their battle to Earth-1, which the team must find a way to stop.

The Music Meister sends Supergirl and the Flash to a world where life is a musical and the only way to escape is to sing and dance.
The Flash fights a villain from Earth-19 called Abra Kadabra, who offers to reveal Savitar’s identity in exchange for his release.
Barry travels forward in time to 2024 to find out Savitar’s identity and save Iris’ life.
Team Flash meets a scientist who may be the key to stopping Savitar, but is forced into a battle with Killer Frost.
Barry takes desperate measures to stop Savitar, while H.R. keeps pressuring Tracy Brand to set a trap for Savitar and Killer Frost has an interesting proposal.
Barry chooses to use any means necessary to save the woman he loves; The Flash turns to Captain Cold for help.
